I also believe we must be cautious of the AI algorithms programming, as they are currently speaking in a manner that is unlike an ordinary person. The inclusion of broken english (perhaps due to not being 100% accurate) provides a key to deciphering the robotic nature of a message. |
So are we headed to a place we’re we human can’t tell who’s a bot and the bots can’t tell who’s a bot and then the humans can sit around and watch bot conversations? We need to find a way to throw the bots off their game. Get them talking smack to each other. That could be entertaining. I’ll put the question to my son the SE. He knows some shit.

For 30 years I refused to teach online because of problems preventing cheating. The current environment presents some really interesting challenges. In the end, it may become the employer’s job to root out the cheaters. If you hire someone and they obviously can’t do what they ought to be able to fire them and blacklist them. I had many discussions with my friends in the college of science and engineering about the purpose of a college education. This may make those more interesting. |
