Aftermarket Seat Resistor
 

I have seen a few write-ups with folks that have wired in the Bridge Airbag canceller or stuck a resistor in their connector. Does anyone have experience with the Recaro universal resistor (7217583)? If the connector fits and the resistance is correct it looks like the cleanest solution I've come across.

I bought a quality resistor from Digikey and asked a wrecker to pull the connector and cut the harness from a car that had deployed driver seat airbags. Soldered them together, and plugged into the car.
