I am looking at fabricating a small pop on steering lack limiter just to take a tiny bit of travel out of the rack. If I get around to it I will let you know how I go

Since this was the latest updated thread. And its about RPF1's. What do you guys think about White RPF1's on an Asphalt FRS?

FWIW, my car is fairly low (on KW V3s) and I do not get tie rod rubbing with 17x9 +45 RPF1s and 245/40/17 Hankook RS3s. However, the tires do rub the sway bar slightly at absolute full lock, so it's possible that is keeping them from hitting the tie rods. The sway bar rub is just enough to clean the bar off, so it's not an issue, even with daily driving and/or autocrossing. I make a conscious effort to not go absolute full lock (and I rarely need to anyway), but even if I have to, it's not enough rubbing to be an issue.

I think you will be fine, depending on your tire size. I also agree that the +35 sticks out too much, so worst case scenario you can add some studs and a 3-5mm spacer up front.

I have the exact same set-up as this guy (even the same tires) and I go full lock all the time and swap wheels tires all the time and I see no evidence of rubbing on the inside of my tire or wheel. And my RFF1s are powdercoated orange so I would notice if the wheel was hitting anything significant.

I am getting 5MM spacers so I can run more camber and 255s. I'm fraid of what a shop is gonna charge me to take the hubs out and press in those studs though.

The studs are pretty easy to replace yourself, there is a DIY somewhere on this site but I couldn't seem to find it. You don't necessarily have the press them in you can just draw them in with hand tools.

I have the +35 RPF1s on order. I don't think they stick out that far with a little bit of camber. I don't think they make too much of a difference in performance, people have been using both +35 and +45 fairly successfully.

I have stopped mine rubbing by having it aligned with the toe in instead if out. Which makes sense as this effectively gives it less angle on the inside wheel. Still undecided if ill get some 8 inch fronts...

Not sure if it's safe or not, but from the pictures, I assume you're still on stock suspension?
