The mount clamps to the head rest posts of the stock seats. The clamps are designed to not mar up the posts. The GoPro mount centers the GoPro perfectly and can be used on either the driver or the passenger seat. It will also work if you want to flip the headrest backwards for more helmet clearance. Mount comes with all hardware needed along with a GoPro style mount.

For the people that don't use a GoPro, our product is compatible with the standard 1/4-20 Tripod mount. You can attach a ball head or a quick release to it to suit your recording needs.

For the track video in the OP, do you know if that camera had the built in image stabilization turned on?

Stabilization was fully off. I’ve had it on once by accident and the camera ends up panning left and right.
