OEM Brakes?
 

I could swear I saw an article that stated that the OEM brakes are Brembo, has anyone seen this in print?

I'll stop by the dealer and ask a mechanic I know if no one knows. If it is through an article please post a url.

I don't believe so. Brembo tends to do monoblock calipers and our cars come with sliding calipers.

Thanks for the quick reply. Called the parts department where I bought my FR-S and he said the coding on the pads was a Japanese name that he sees on other Toyota pads (not Brembo).

How do you manage such great mpg? I just got my best tank at 27.46 and most of that was highway miles.

My best (37.5) was pure highway. But I don't do anything special. I drive the car normally for the most part. Cruise control on the highway, and I don't flog it all the time..
