The "I'm having a ton of fun tracking my 86 without issues" thread!

Hey all,

My 86 is due to arrive in about a month and I'm getting a good ol' case of forum-induced paranoia.

I ended up taking over someone's reservation on this car after a pretty quick call to switch platforms after blowing another motor on my track built STi. Just looking for a simple, fun car that I can daily drive and play with on the track. My GF has a '17 BRZ track car that I completely love and has been rock solid over many dozens of track days, so a 86/BRZ was my first thought.

Of course we see the small fraction of posts on forums and social media when something goes wrong, but no one really posts much when things are going well... so roll call, who's having a blast tracking their '22+ car??

I'm all about weight reduction when I track.

So I will be doing a warranty delete.

Hmmm, a K Swapped 1st gen, I'm sure that will instill him with confidence in his stock 2nd gen

I don't know why they are all being so snippy since the thread title does not specify what 86!

"The "I'm having a ton of fun tracking my 86 without issues" thread!"

I mean, it's only in the 2nd gen section and has now thoroughly derailed a legitimate question.
