No Limit's DGM BRZ limited build thread
Whats up guys? I have been on this forum for a couple of months now, but have never started a thread outside of the commercial area. My name is Adam, I work for No Limit Motorsport. We are a walk in store/online store + shop in Medford, NY (Long Island). Our specialty would be WRX/STI, and Lancer Evo's, as well as some S2000 stuff, and soon to be BRZ/FRS! Thursday of last week we went and picked up our new dark grey metallic BRZ limited. LOVE this car. Our other shop car is a 900whp R33 Skyline GT-R, and I hate to admit it, I already like the BRZ better, stock too. It is just so much fun to drive! We aren't sure how far we are going to go modding this thing, I am afraid of ruining the cars current character and reliability on the race track. We already have some parts on order for this car such as: Fortune 500 coilovers w/ Swift Springs, and roller bearings Greddy Evo 3 Exhaust HT Autos Lip Three sets of wheels - Weds TC105 17x9 for track and than Weds TC105 18x8.5/9.5, and Gram Lights 57 xtreme 18x8.5/9.5 for shows, cruising, whatever. I am also going to grab a Carsmo rear spoiler, as I am not a fan of the stock limited spoiler. Other mods will come just not sure where yet! Here are a couple pictures of it stock http://i819.photobucket.com/albums/z...frontnolip.jpg http://i819.photobucket.com/albums/z...RZ/BRZback.jpg |
Update we have recieved our HT Auto's front lip. We are going to be stocking their products for BRZ and FRS in the near future. So stay tuned.
Anyway, this thing is awesome. It came pre-drilled, included hardware, and it is made of a very flexible durable black plastic/rubber. I wasn't sure what to expect of quality from pictures on their website, but was pleasantly surprised to find fitment perfect. I planned on doing an install write up of this thing, but was to excited when it came in, to take install pictures. I did installation on the ground in the parking lot, and had the job done in about 20 minutes with basic hand tools, a cordless drill (drill small invisible holes underneath lip), and a floor jack. Here are pictures after installation. Our Fortune coilovers come in tomorrow and I can't wait to see how great it looks lowered! http://i819.photobucket.com/albums/z...BRZwithlip.jpg http://i819.photobucket.com/albums/z...rzlipsepia.jpg |
How much did that lip run?! I have a DGM and that looks pretty tight!

...and it really does look tight. It made the front of the car look mean as hell for not much money. |
Looks great Adam! How much of a drop are you expecting, and how much vertical clearance did the lip cost you?

I plan on lowering the car a good bit tomorrow when I install the coils, so we will see what happens! |

Looking forward to seeing the pics after she's dropped. |
That lip looks SICK. Also that colour totally hides/negates the BRZ's mouth gaurd....now I am kind of upset I did not get the BRZ in that colour (ordered my FRS in Asphalt)

Oh baby coilovers just came in. Fortune 500's with Swift springs & roller bearings. 6KG front 7KG rear.
