KW V3 + Raceseng Camber Plates
Hi, I bought KW V3s and Raceseng Camber Plates. When I bought the plates I had to look at a chart so that I'd choose the correct perch spring (60mm) and bushing (15mm) sizing that would be compatible for the KW V3s.
When installing the plates onto the strut, I notice that the shock nut doesn't seem to thread all the way. Even when removing the upper spring to see if the nut will completely thread in, it still doesn't. It this normal? https://i.imgur.com/2SFLtfw.jpeg I was looking at this thread, and noticed int he last photo of OPs post, you can see the threading of the strut. I can't even see that on mine, rather I see the threading on the nut. I don't know if this is normal, or if Raceseng sent an incorrect sized piece? Or of KW had updated the sizing of the strut? Thanks. https://imgur.com/2SFLtfw |

Maybe they changed the shock nut design over the years (I bought my Raceseng plates back in 2016), but yours definitely don't look like mine, so they may indeed the the incorrect part. Yours has a much smaller inner diameter than mine (also KW V3 before I upgraded to RCE T2, which are the same thing in that regard.) Based on your photo, I'm going to assume that the nut is bottoming out on the threaded portion of the shaft, which isn't allowing you to fully tighten it...? I'd reach out to Raceseng for clarification.

Was able to email a rep, and said it was normal.
