OEM Clear Side Markers (Toyota vs Subaru)
 
I'm looking at buying OEM clear side markers for my '17 PP BRZ. In my research it seems that both Toyota and Subaru make these parts and have their own part numbers. Can anyone confirm if these parts are identical? Understandable that both companies maintain their own part numbers but I just wanted to be 100% sure.

Subaru:
Right: 84912CA120
Left: 84912CA130

Toyota:
Right: SU003-02538
Left: SU003-02539

Just throwing this out there.
If you live in the USA this is 100% illegal.
Amber lenses (Not bulbs!) are required federally by the D.O.T.

YMMV though and weather or not a cop pulls you over is up to them. I know down here if the cops a real **** they can tow the car until the lenses are fixed.

While your statement is correct, the police near me are to busy pulling ATV's off skateboarders to worry about clear side markers. It's pretty much Lord of the Flies out here.

The parts are all exclusively produced by Subaru.
Toyota just buys them and puts a healthy markup on top.

The parts are made FOR Subaru. Subaru does not manufacture anything.
