P0020 CEL?
Hi guys,
Recently been greeted by a P0020 CEL “A camshaft position actuator / open bank 2” After taking a quick look in the bay I noticed my sandwich plate for the oil cooler had come loose, causing oil spill between the plate and the spacer below the oil filter, I have since fixed this and changed oil/filter, with the code still up I then proceeded to replace cam sensor and oil control valve both for intake side Cleared the code and went for a drive, 15 minutes later it re appears, anyone have any suggestions on what to check next? |
p0020 is a straightforward error. it's that solenoid, or the connector, or the wiring, or the ecu itself.

As said before the solenoid has been replaced too, I don’t have tech stream or anything to retrieve the data to diagnose any further, so thought I’d post on here to see if anyone has experienced or have any ideas going forward before I take it in to the garage |

A DTC for *camshaft position actuator circuit*, replaces the camshaft position sensor.
WHY!? Why do people on forums do this!? My toilet doesn't flush... Guess I'll change the kitchen sink! Yet you've seemingly got a DVOM as you say you've ohm'ed out the sensor. That DVOM can read volts you know, and maybe even AMPS!. You can test the CAMSHAFT POSITION ACTUATOR CIRCUIT Quote:
