Just rare that somebody actually admits it and not try to find a way to point the finger at the manufacturer.

They should just decline to sell any of these cars to anyone under 40

Don't know if there is an age limit on miss shifts though.
Us old guys can just get confused sometimes.

That was just an IOU shift then.
Gotta' go for the gusto to qualify as a money shift!

What is the point of sharing a money shift video in this thread?

If I recall correctly the car that blow the engine with all the media coverage, did have a small overrev event of I think 7900 not that long before the failure.

It seems that perhaps there was a good reason why they ended up lowering the rev limit from 7500 to 7400. I was hoping to have a 2-300 increase in my rev limit once we got the ecutek tunes out (apparently about 4-6 weeks away), but I don't think I'll be taking that path anymore.

Then they won't sell sports cars at all, basically shutting out half of the demographic that buys these is probably the dumbest thing I've heard in a long time.

That was a joke based on what it seems is the TikTok, YT young crowd freaking out about this online.

But the reality is that average age of a new car buyer is around 50. It's somewhat lower than that for a BRZ/GT86 but definitely not in the 20s or whatever.

Google says the median age is 34 as of 2020.
