GR86 x Initial D commercial

Weird on so many levels…
|
Unrealistic . He beat Takumi.
Otherwise, many a careless driving or stunt driving charge as well as major collision claims to be made by young men that choose to drive like they see in the cartoon. Aside from that, I did buy my son a few Initial D used books at the comic book store a few months ago. He's 15 now. What are the chances he will get to occasionally drive the FR-S? |
Ads for a car that they can't make anywhere near enough of to meet current and projected demand... must be smoking some good stuff at Toyota or have money to burn. I suppose their argument would be "that's irrelevant, it's all about boosting brand image, making our grocer-getter SUVs and crossovers more appealing to Mr. Average Dad".

Bunta's new (used) shop car. Makes perfect sense.
"Don't you have any work to do?" |
I dunno, bunta's intent was always to improve takumi as a driver by exposing him to different driving styles and vehicle handling techniques. That was also his subtle reasoning for the 22b.
There's nothing different about the driving dynamics that makes the new 86 desirable to bunta, IMO.. |
