Tubes by rear passenger wheel?

What on god's green earth is the tube for? I can't really tell where it goes and it's 100% in the way of me adjusting my coilover without having to take off the wheel. I'm about to just yank it but I wanna know if it's important.

Idk how to upload a picture but is towards the rear behind some plastic and is by the lca going up to what looks like the trunk.

I'd hazard a guess that's the parking brake cable? Does it go into the back of the parking brake drum? Thick black cable?

Picture would help since I have no idea what you are talking about.

When in doubt, just yank it, what can possibly go wrong.

Now that I've read some of your other gems, it all makes sense.

Instead I yanked the fender liner out as i only had 3 clips holding it in. It's some sort of breather tube I'd assume is for the gas tank. Either way it was in the way of me adjusting the coilover without removing the wheel so I took it off. Can't imagine it would cause any issues.

i can't see it, and you're in nebraska, so it really doesn't matter to me. i mean, you must know something subaru doesn't about fuel vapors!

Ebush 07-26-2022 03:28 PM

So just to be clear. Instead of just removing the wheel to make life easier, which would have taken 1 minute. You posted a question online, then proceeded to remove fuel hoses in order to adjust your coilover.

No worries. That's the drain hose for when your trunk fills up with water. You should be fine. [/s]

You mean I didn't have to drill all those holes in the trunk? :sigh:
