HELP: Pulley violently shaking with chemical smell
 

In the middle of driving last night the sound my frs makes suddenly changed and now sounds like a v8 mustang. No lights or anything turned on so I got home and ignored it. This morning I went for a cruise noticed when it’s running it’s smells like chemicals and that one pulley that’s suppose to move is moving even more and violently. Other than that the car runs fine still just wondering if it’s something I need to be immediately worried about or if I need to be worried at all. Also I apologize ahead of time I’m not very mechanically inclined.

a video would help. does it seem like the exhaust fell off?

The potential variables of "it’s smells like chemicals and that one pulley that’s suppose to move is moving even more and violently" is huge.

As said a video and more description would help. Or even better just take it to someplace and have them look at it in person.
