Dealer near me actually had two new base 86's sitting on the lot. Swung by to sit in one while I wait for my BRZ to come in. Dealer wants 5k markup non-negotiable. Having worked for one in college during the last gas crunch in 08, I hate them so much.

Yes, except that the whole car market is a joke right now, preowned in particular..

It is hilarious. I just got a GR86 Premium 6MT at MSRP luckily from a dealer mins from my house a week ago. Lets call it $33,500 OTD. Carvana will write me a check for it tomorrow for $38,000. It makes no sense.

Local Toyota Dealer in Wichita has a 2023 GR86 Premium, MT in pavement coming in. They are asking 5k Markup(if your a local). I did NOT take that offer.


I really wish I had more than one local dealer to go to.
