Just bought me a pair of Valenti tail lights, can't wait!!

636 09-07-2013 05:29 PM

Well, I got my Valenti tails from ModBargains yesterday, and installed them immediately. Here's some pictures of the process, and after photos.

Here's them out of the box:

And lastly, a quick video I took after installation.

Pictures do these tail lights NO justice. All these were taken with an iPhone 5. You really need to see these in person to truly appreciate just how beautiful they are. The light output is amazing, the brakes are extremely bright, and the signal flash is just as bright. Installation was a breeze, if you have a deep socket, the 4 bolts needed per side will be off in a minute.

Thanks for checking 'em out, if you have any questions just shoot me a message or comment back here!

Thank you! The camera was a Canon 7D, and just a cheapo 50mm 1.8. Settings, I have no clue, haha. As far as editing goes, used a little bit of Photoshop CS5, but mostly done in Lightroom.

Just chillin' at Import Face-Off, Gainesville with my Jacksonville brothers and sisters.

Congrats to Brian for winning first place best other Honda!!

Got beat by Mike with his Camo Turbo BRZ for best FRS/BRZ, but that is well deserved. :)

Maybe I'll get it next year!

@636 , how did you fix the front clunking , is it front the end links?

Can I use the factory end links instead of the adjustable ones or how can I adjust them to not make any noise?

Thanks

Just use the ones that came with your coilovers...adjust them to be shorter and slap em back on. That's all I did to remove my noises, if that doesn't work...then. :iono:

New front lip and Hella Supertones!

Well, I decided to buy an ebay front lip, just to see if I would enjoy it before dumping money into an HTAuto kit. And I do love the look. The lip I bought has some fitment issues, being eBay and all. But for the price, I'm not really complaining. Still working on molding it to sit at a lower angle, for it angles up pretty harshly right now. The maker is Benz vs BMW.

Here's how it looks right now, I'll have more photos of it soon. It'll probably be for sale once I buy the HTAuto front lip also. :P

By fitment issue what do you mean ?

The way it was mounted, it angles upward very hard. But I'm doing some tricks to bend the polyurethane out to make it sit more flush.

This ones fitment curves upward. I don't like it, also it didn't give me the amount of low that I actually wanted.

Here's a video where you can see it better.

Hahaha, it's just because I don't have my TPMS in my current wheels, they're still in the stocks, which are sold.

You made me wanna buy these fog lights. However, any issue with signal when fogs are on? Those fogs seem too bright to see your turn signals.

Btw, I just ordered the ebay lip likes yours, love it so much. I think I'll pm you when I install it.
