Replaced the manual transmission fluid with Redline MT-90

Transmission shifts much better, no thump on 1st gear and much much less notchiness on 2nd gear engagement

why did you decide on mobil 1 on the rear?

How much did you use of each?

I've definately been planning on swapping all my fluids at 3k

used little les than 3 qt for the tranny and little less than 2 qt for th diff.

used mobil 1 for the diff because the place were I got the redline did not have 75w90 GL-5 gear oil in stock. Plus mobil 1 has limited slip friction additive in it which is needed if the limited slip axle has clutches, which I don't know if it does on not, but with mobil 1 it does not matter, you are covered either way

our limited slip is a torsen so no clutches.

I thought AZ6 transmissions took that wierd 5w30 gear oil that honda uses...

so did the MT90 cure, lessen or did you NOT have the bitchy 2nd gear issue when cold?

Are these fluids easy to replace?

Easier than an oil change?
