22 Black 86

After 2 years of looking for a 1le, and then an 86, I finally picked something up just in time for memorial day weekend!

Long story short, got a call from a dealer I called a few weeks back. He said it got off the truck this AM and the original customer doesn't want it. Yes please! I uber'ed to the dealer (1.5hrs away)- arrived at 3, started driving home at 4:20. Easiest purchase ever. Sales guy was amazing and very helpful. He asked all the right questions and left the car wrapped for me to unwrap. So cool. I did not wake up this morning thinking I was getting something. I was just convincing myself to overpay for that brz t.S posted on Shift.com. Shoutout to Alderman's Toyota in Vt. Ask for Dillon.

I took off the wrappings when I got home.

Already drove 110miles. First of all, it reminds me of my STI in all the good ways. The noises and the engine. It's much faster than STI and easier to drive. Less Clunky too. Other than that, it's basically a rear drive STI. Which is awesome. I'll have more detailed pics tomorrow with better camera work.

Going to sign up for a few track days at Limerock. There, i'll shake the car down for a baseline. then Tomie, wheels, stickier tires, underbody aero and Duckbill wing. :burnrubber:

**how do I make pics smaller?

Woo hoo! Just in time for $6 a gallon. Congrats on your purchase.

I scale down my images in MS Paint or GiMP.

Bro, hahahahahaha. Just in time for insane gas prices. Right. My GTI takes 93 as well. Yikes.

Well, ill try to drive the 86 as much as I can. Between being fulltime dad of 2 maniac boys, coaching baseball, maintaining the house, summertime plans with family, I hope I can find times on Saturday and Sunday mornings before everyone wakes up to drive. I also registered for a track day. lol

I have no idea where you'll find the time, but more power to you, and Congrats on the new ride!

I need a OEM rear duck bill immediately along with a few "premium" Alcantara trim pieces- shifter boot, door trim and knee pads..
