I'm back -need an update

I haven't been here in a little while, although I keep up as much as I can with the e-mail updates, but was just looking for a quick overview.

1. Is it really going to be a Scion?
2. Is the price still looking at 20k?
3. Any news on Power, turbo etc

Thanks guys.

Nothing really new. Slow for news lately.

Come on Toyota. You gotta feed the beast from time to time.

1. No. They mixed up the badges on the concept.

2. It's 50K now.

3. Read the forums. It's why they are there.

1. Yes
2. No official confirmation on price but as far as I know the target of low 20's hasn't changed
3. ~200hp N/A Boxer. Toyota/Subaru have gone on record saying that a turbo does not fit the character of the vehicle. Take that however you want.

There's still a lot of time before this is released. They reveal too much and their marketing/hype loses steam too early. It's probably going to be slow until leading up to the Tokyo Motor Show.

If they are smart they will keep actual looks, price and specs a mystery until Dec. Which could also be bad because the best time to buy a car is Dec,Jan and Feb, and if those things fall short people will jump ship at such a convenient time.

I think I read an article that said March and July were the best months to buy a new car with the rebates + offers.

The car becomes leftover, you get the same rebate, lower to 0%apr, at/under invoice.

Gotcha. Did you get a good deal on your new Mini over the weekend?
