Using Open End Lug Nuts/Center Cap Recommendations for Wedssport TC105X

Hi All,

So I recently just put on my Weddsport TC105X with some open ended lug nuts (yes I should have bought closed ends) from Project Kics R40 (16+4 Locks) - 12x1.25. I was wondering if I should be worried about rust on these living in Northern California or if there is anything I should do before washing my car or after I wash my car to prevent rust from happening.

I'm also running the wheels without a center cap and I know a lot of people say this is fine but wondering if I should buy some center caps and if I should be worried about rust there as well.

Get some Weds center caps with integrated hub centering rings.

Type-D 65mm > 56mm - Part Number 52904

I am running the same setup. For the lug nuts I use anti seize copper grease. If you don't, the rust will stain your wheels. I painted the hub with vht black caliper paint and prefer that look to the hub center caps.

You may be on to something with the VHT caliper paint. center caps for my wheels are non-existent as far as I know (SAR V.2) and I just never seem to get around to taking measurements to have someone 3D print some.
