Locking the door....
 

Did you know you could just leave your finger in one spot near the sensor for 2-3 seconds to lock it vs sliding it?

Yes, now I will have to try it the sliding way.

You're suppose to slide it?... I've always just place my finger on the sensor...
Call me OCD, but I would have to oppose to the "sliding" method as I fear it may scratch the paint on the handle. :lol:

I've always just tapped the lock sensor.

I've been doing this from day one.

I just give it a 1 second touch with the back of my fingers on the sensor.

Slide it? That works? Hmm...


I just place finger on second, or use back of palm if my hands are full.

o.O you're supposed to slide it? I normally just hold it there.

I think its how long you hold it for. And since your sliding it, youre actually holding it for the required amount of time unless you slide your finger out of its sensor.

I've never slid my fingers over it, or held them there. Just a light tap usually works, even in the rain

What sensor are we talking about?

Door handle locking/unlocking sensors (with the smart-key). They're on the Subaru BRZ Sport-Tech, and the Toyota 86/GT86.

Now if the horn would just honk when you lock the car with the door handle sensor.

^^ Yea, I want the horn to chirp when the alarm to let me know that the alarm is activated and doors are locked.

Hmm, ive always pressed the button. Ill try this
