Is ACE header discontinued? Anyone interested in making a replica?

As topic, I'm in Ontario Canada and searched some posts about EL headers, seems like the ACE A350 got pretty positive reviews years ago, but also seems like they almost discontinued on official website.
Found Subiedepot and ft86motorsports still have products for special order, but I also contacted a Chinese factory which can make replica for it under 1000CAD but need 20 orders to start production, anyone still interested in the first gen brz/86 and looking for a header like that?
:thanks:

Gonna be honest with you.

This sounds like a scam.
The 100% bad Chinese fake product English is a big Red Flag for me.

This is also your first post.
You've been lurking here since 2020???

Have you tried contacting ACE directly?

Get it, thanks buddy

By the way didn't post anything because most information are so useful and enough here, and just started to have idea about modifying the header since got the car in 2020. Maybe I should send a email to ACE.

I believe ACE is discontinued as of this moment, I don't remember where I saw tha notice, but don't quote me on that. But you can always go with JDL, from which quality is outstanding.

China parts are a NO-NO.

I heard they stopped selling them because most twin owners are cheap and they also catered to Porsche. And those owners have money to blow. Lol makes sense since most people talked about how Tomei and OFH were cheaper and just as good. So that right there shows people won’t spend much. Same thing happened with the Nameless Performance and Cosworth packages.

Basically this.

Ace's welds were top notch, and it was obvious when you looked at the end product. The ultimate power and powerband speaks for itself. Unfortunately, the general concensus is that FRS/BRZ guys will take a product that gives you 80% of the gains for 20% of the price. Porsche owners on the other hand, are willing to pay a 80% premium for a 20% larger gain. Case in point, a GT3 owner who pays 180k for a 500hp car, vs a Mustang owner who pays 40k for a 460hp car.

Some used Ace headers are still exchanging hands.

Nameless is plagued with copies.

Ebay is already littered with cheap Chinese knockoffs of brand name headers up to and including ACE.
If anybody thinks they are going to get an ACE quality "replica" for $1,000 CAD then I have a deal on a nice building to sell them.

So is JDL. I have seen a few copies of their UEL.

Look up Rogue Motorsport in UK.

That's the closest you will get to the ACE and with top notch quality.

Cost is what made me steer away from ace.
With the Canadian conversion it was around $4000+ to get the correct tune, header and ecutek hardware/license.

A $1000 comparable header is a compelling argument, but there needs to at least be a prototype on hand to test. JDLs 4-2-1 header sells for around $1700CAD and I didn't calculate taxes/duty.

I paid a few hundred for a used open flash header and have had no problem. If it cracks or fails I'll put the stock manifold back on. Car is way stronger than stock. Not high end el stronger but strong enough for a 25k sports car.

Are the header to collector gaskets still available?
