OT: Tough Mudder

Off topic - not car related:

There is tough mudder on today and tomorrow?
anyone going?
I have 1pm start time today, would be cool to see someone there

That's probably it.

I knew a few people who were doing it. I'm doing Run For Your Lives in September - a similar but different event.

this is either a coincidence or something totally unrelated.

i was up north yesterday and saw a group of guys wearing orange headbands that said "tough mudder" on them.

not sure if this is what you're referring to...haha

ya, it was at Mt. St. Louis Moonstone.. they gave tshirts and those orange headbands out, and basically everyone went somewhere to eat after they finished.. I think they said they had 17000 people register.. so chances are they were from the event

My group started at 2:30 ish. We arrived late because of the massive lineup traffic! By the time we started, they had removed the slip&slide obstacle because too many people were getting seriously injured.

You?

around the same time..

did you see a guy in yellow jeans? and purple hat?

I was there as well, had an awesome time and all the pain the next few days was well worth it.

My heat started at 9:30 on the saturday. I was with a team with my coworkers. We were rocking a light green shirt and our team name was "Balls Deep In Mud".

Definitely gonna do it again next year. Any of you guys get faceplanted in the electrocution?

Minhtyfresh 09-02-2012 01:25 PM

Drei, I didnt see a guy in yellow jeans with a purple hat.. sorry! I did see a team in colorful spandex.. and a guy wearing a spartan costume..

DK- Nope! I slithered underneath the first set of wires, and covered myself in mud before charging through the last set. (: didnt feel a thing
