Undertray flange bolts question

Question regarding reattaching bolts on the fiberglass undertray on a 2013 BRZ. There are a number of 10mm flange bolts that are used in reattaching the undertray and they don't seem to go in all the way, they stick out. I could keep turning the bolt and try to press it in further, but I want to see if that is the right way to do it, or if I'm going to strip the threads? If I'm supposed to keep turning the bolt until its pressed all the way in, let me know!

There are two different size bolts under there. Make sure that you have the right bolts in the right holes. They should thread in completely with only your fingers.

What size are the 2 bolts ive lost a few over the years and could use a few more

From memory, the heads are 10 and 12mm. I do not know the thread pitch and diameter.

The bigger M8 ones come loose. I just went to the dealer and bought a bag of new ones. A bit of blue loctite helps.

For the aluminum panel and fiberglass (?) panel there are 4 different types of fasteners.

Aluminum panel
  1. 12mm flange bolts - 901000413 - 8 of them
  2. Plastic rivets - 56411CA000 - 6 of them

Fiberglass panel
  1. 10mm flange bolts - 901000344 - 7 of them
  2. 10mm bolts - 10006167 - 4 of them (these actually attach the two panels)

All the bolts are silver in color.
From the looks of your picture, you have the wrong ones.

lol yes looks like I've done it wrong..

I snapped most of the 10mm bolts off into the frame..

I think that someone willing should do a proper "how to disassemble and reattach which bolts goes where" video. (please don't post the diagram I've seen them)

I've snapped 2 in the frame too. I got them out with this.

You have to take your time and drill STRAIGHT.
Wear goggles too because a bunch of shavings will fall right on your face.
I was JUST under the car this morning, I would've taken pics had I seen this before but to help you out.... I don't think it's necessary though since my original reply already tells you which ones go to which panel and if you click the hyperlinks there are pictures of the bolts but anyway...

The green circles are for the first list item in my original post's "Aluminum panel" section.
Blue circles are for the second list item in my original post's "Aluminum panel" section.
Red circles are for the second list item in the "Fiberglass panel" section.
And the rest is easy to figure out by process of elimination.
