Halo White 2022 Delivery Picked up!

Well just landed and picked up. Got the front Xpel'd and taken care of...here's my impressions:

1. The car is significantly more quiet than my '17 BRZ.

2. The car handles well, and it's fun to drive. The low centre of gravity and the fender lines reminds me of my 911.

3. The ride quality is still horrible, and reminded me of why I got rid of my '17 BRZ.

I really want this car to work out. I'm in my 30s and I'm feeling this is way too bumpy for this type of car. My ND miata is more comfortable in terms of ride comfort.

Anyway, if there's any vendors out there that can recommend me a set of comfortable coils. I'm all ears!

Next up I'm looking into EDIRB seats, UEL headers, and an axleback that is DRONE FREE.

I've also ordered the JDM OEM 16" wheels...that should help ride quality and fill in these stock brakes.

If you want comfort, this thing is absolutely jarring at low speed high frequency bumps. I previously has RSR coils on the '17 and that was not livable daily.

Adding imgur link...I don't see pic on the thread.

Did you try out the Subaru version? I've seen reviews mention the Toyota version is much more firm compared to the Subaru.

Weird, my BRZ on the 17 inch wheels & primacys is really comfortable. Rides surprisingly great.

I guess it's all subjective. Lol

The rear end is a bit of a pogostick imo. The front is excellent.

I went to try out a friend's GR86 on Hipermax, they've got much better rebound to deal with the high freq low speed bumps but still not quite what I'm after.

It's looking to be Ohlins for me...whenever they decide to release more parts

Looks like its cold where you are which can make cheap shocks more jarring IMO

The Subaru BRZ is supposed to be much more comfy than the gr86. Maybe give that a try?

I just picked up a 22 BRZ limited (18 inch wheels) and the ride is very smooth. Maybe try buying a take off set of oem coilovers from a 22 BRZ owner.

goddamn y'all right. this is the BRZ section. I swear I was browsing the Gr86, my bad.

The BRZ is clearly the better one.
