Project Mu Type PS PP Brembos loud af

Hello just wondering if anyone has any experience with these pads, they’re advertised as being a compromise between street and performance - good stopping but quiet and less dust than an outright performance pad. I installed them using the existing Brembo shims, everything fit perfect obviously, I did the recommended bedding process, had a hpde the next day and they worked fantastic, better than the factory Brembo pads, but gadDAMN they are LOUD. Like embarrassing, changing the way i drive, rolling through stop signs to avoid using the brakes, kind of loud. So my question is: is this just how they are? Did i miss something while installing them? Is there something i can do to make it better? I appreciate any input

Sometimes that's the way it is. My Brembo brakes are loud, and I'm on the OEM compound.

You can try bedding them in again, or touch-up the contact points with a little bit of brake grease. Other than that, you can just apply more braking force over a shorter distance to keep them outside of the noise point. I just live with mine, other people be damned :burnrubber:

Brembo GT iirc ? Mine was exactly the same - loud all the time during commuting use. Changed them to Ferodo DS2500 and now they work way more quiet even without shims.

I still have to fit them, I hope they'll not be so noisy.
Almost 0 noise with stock shitty pads.
Do you have stock disks?

PS is not meant for track use at all. They may have been glazed.

The factory Brembo calipers are fairly noise prone in general.
