I’ll be honest, engine swap will make the GR86 go faster… but dear god, it’s impossible to keep it from going side ways. Got near double of power, but still it doesn’t give me satisfying lap time.

As for other lap numbers are crazy fast… not really sure I can beat it

She's a handful alright! That's why FBO is more than enough power. It's not too bad once you dial in all of the adjustments, especially the LSD.

Well I won’t lie, this took more than 4 laps. There’s not a single corner on this track that’s chill. I basically hate everything in the world right now.

Gave the unlimited a shot but nah. Wasn’t coming anywhere close. I’ll build out the Supra swapped one for Trial Mountain probably, as that track will demand it.

I just finished mine. This track, main thing is how you setup the uphill corners. Uphill corners will shave so much time & ideally wanna do slingshot style in most of the corners… so my uncle claims.

Wanted to see how a fully nodded twin would be. Didn't want to throw everything onto the GR86, so I made the BRZ the crazy one. Weird how the stroke up decreased PP. Didn't realize it until as I was pressing x. LOL. Way too hard to control.

Yeah, I got better time w <650hp… at least in this track. It might vary on the track. 777hp is more for drifting. I’m drifting nicely in full modded GR86. But good job on the lap time!

I feel like I was faster with the FBO GR86, so I'm very surprised that the maxed out BRZ was that much faster.

I know I can't compete with you guys when it comes to drifting. That may sound weird coming from me since my racing style is more of a race drift than full blown grip. lol. Style drifting is much harder for me.

Yeah, just go to ranking, clink on the time you wanna delete & delete it. Problem is, once a while it doesn’t delete, so gotta get out of ranking & do it again. Trust me it’s not fun. I wish they make it delete all or selected delete. Deleting Trial Mountain was fun…

I bought Stray last night, so I should probably get my times in as well before I forget and just keep playing Stray. Lol

How do you like it so far, I've read so many great things. Like I mentioned on the PC thread, more than willing to pay full price since they are donating some proceeds to stray cats organizations.

It's cool so far. A bit too linear (like you can't just jump or scratch things, they're all preplanned out). Only thing you can do whenever you want is meow, which I was having a blast with. Lol.

I'm also having my usual nausea with having to control the camera separate from the character, but I'm willing to put up with it becausecat. Hahaha

I heard there's a "Chatty" achievement lol by pressing the meow as much as you can.

About 3 laps each. For some reason it didn't record my unlimited lap, which took many, many laps since I kept making mistakes. Gonna have to redo it.

Alright, somehow got a lap in with fewer mistakes with the fully modded GR86.

Damn, 48secs? 50secs barrier took me a bit to break, clearly you were aiming at breaking the 49secs barrier :burnrubber:

I got 1:53 on my first lap that I didn't spin or hit the walls, but with lots of sliding and missed braking points. Figured I could get below 1:50. The lap it didn't record the time, but it did the ghost, I got 1:49:xxx. But that took an insane amount of laps. Luckily it only took me 2 laps to get a "clean" lap in to get a recorded time.

By lap 4 I was in the low 17’s, no idea how to get down into 14’s. Was having fun though so kept going. Found most time just using up the whole track.

Won’t have time to mess with the unlimited, no Supra engine. Had a heck of a time getting around the track once clean, lap was like 2 mins so give me last place but don’t call it a DNF haha

Damn! How you guys hitting 14’s… honestly I don’t like how GR drives in this track. BUT GT in other hand, I enjoyed it more (even though did crappy lap time).

Also fredzy, I would put your name in the unlimited class, but in that scene cap, don’t see other GR86 lap time other than stock one.

I use turn-in oversteer caused by braking to take certain turns fastest here, especially T1. It's tough to be consistent with it though.

I'll get a pic for unlimited. I was being lazy.. wasn't going to even put a lap in since I couldn't get time to build the car, figured at least get the 3 points.

My process for pics is unnecessarily complicated. I'll trim it down by uploading attachments now I think.

Trail braking in most corners, and the corner before the tunnel and last corner are very important to get right. I picked up 2 seconds just at the tunnel straight by getting a better line and corner exit from that corner.

The before tunnel corner is a puzzle. I want to take an early on the gas/late apex line for it but the best setup I can find feels like you're turning in too early. If I do it where I think I should it's like you fall off a cliff. I think it's how the road dips right at the tunnel exit.

That endless straight gives you a lot of time to think about what you did wrong while you watch that little number tick away from blue to red :cry:

My final take on Trial Mountain is that I love it, but the straights should have been shorter (Should be a sub-2 minute track in a car like this) and I would prefer the original last turn. The new version of that chicane is probably smarter for real racing but the old version was more exciting.

Yeah, the original track was shorter, and had the car launcher at the end. Lol.

I don't mind the new version tho.

Well, didn't think it was fair for me to call it quits after 3 laps yesterday with the stock GR86, so I gave myself another 5 laps. Lol.

First, I wanted to do rally & thought about Colorado Springs, but prob you two won’t like it, so throw that idea out of the window. I’m going to see El Classico this weekend, so wanted to dedicate the track to Barcelona… but forgot that, that track got so many shortcuts. To keep myself from cheating, I decided not to select that track.
