I’m in the same boat. I don’t know the best line is. 2 nights ago, I was practicing w driving line & it kinda helped me… but overall didn’t help much. I’m happy w my lap time & not planning to try again. I’m done w Big Willow lol

I did 3 laps of Brands Hatch GP Circuit. Fun track

I don't like the track, but it's short enough for me to do another session. LOL. I drove with the driving line in Sport before 7 came out, and it didn't help me at Big Willow either. Haha

I know I could have been .3 to .5 seconds faster, but I kept messing up a corner just as I had a good lead over my ghost. Quit and went to Rocket League instead.

Brands Hatch GP started. I haven’t really race that track, so I’m a bit worried. Also I won 2nd Gen TA, so I’ll be choosing the Race 5. I kinda wanna do Nur Nordschleife… but it’s a ridiculously LONG track plus I gonna hate myself trying to lap a clean lap w unlimited class lol I’ll figure it out by Thursday

As usual, I'll go in without practicing and just put down the laps. lol. I don't boot up GT7 anymore unless it's just for the lap times. The Ring might be my last entry for the time attacks.

I'll see. As much as the Ring is difficult, I actually like the track. Maybe that'll give me more enthusiasm. haha.

Here's my first attempt at the Ring. 2 laps for the 1st gen, 3 laps for the 2nd, and lost track of how many retried for the unlimited. But only got 1 actual lap in. Lol. Also the first time I've had to change some settings for the unlimited car since I got to the settings I liked.

Have we done Red Bull Ring yet? If not, the full course is my pick. If we have, then let's try Catalunya GP.

We are still in the week of the Nurburgring. The Red Bull Ring will be next week. Also looks like that set up will fall under the unlimited class (not sure what increased the PP by 2).

Ah, that is true, so Im assuming using the earlier model it is. I'll give it a shot later today.

Even tho it was much slower, I made way less mistakes using the 1st gen compared to the 2nd gen.

That Peugeot got my attention, 5 mins is stupid fast on that circuit. I was on the edge driving the 787B. Now I'm intrigued and want to buy it even though Im saving for the McLaren MP4-4.

Plan to go out for 2 laps. Just focus on clean for first lap. The cold tires will cost you at least a second or two by the time you get to flugplatz, when they seem up to temp. I'm faster everywhere in the first 2 minutes of the second lap. You'll be warmed up then too, so you can see how much time you buy yourself at each corner being more aggressive.

Then don't use second gear. I use it for the first and last turn, probably shouldn't even use it there. Momentum is everything and it never works out in favor of momentum. And don't shift into 6 up the big climb up to the first carousel haha

ATM I'm hitting 8:06.xxx... Just 2nd half I need to improve, especially after bottle neck & few corners before long straight.

Just tried again and got almost the exact same time I got the first time! I know I still have a lot of time that I can shave off since I can't get a lap in without making a mistake.
