Ok pissed tonight had a go with Unlimited. hope the details get posted.

Having hard time w unlimited class. Just keep drifting through every corners. Gen 2, I keep making mistake on the last corner & cause me to lose 0.2~0.5 secs of time.

I'm still laughing that I did a full 360 in the long "straight" without hitting a wall and continuing. Might do another session later tonight.

Alright, another 3 laps or so with all three, and improved my times for all.

If I don’t drift, I might be able to get near <1:53… but no where near 1:52.3xx

Plus today is my wife’s bday, so I shouldn’t play gt7 more than as is lol

Don't really like racing on Daytona, so only did 2 laps for the stock classes, and either 4 or 5 laps for the unlimited.

In keeping with the theme of real tracks that I don't really like racing on, next TA will be on Big Willow Willow Springs. Lol

Saturday is usually my best opportunity unfortunately Ichi did not submit the track until my Sunday which is two days down in the week for me. Plus I only get another 4:20 from now to submit. So don`t complain about getting time.

Gonna be busy tonight, so taking my lunch break to do some laps. FYI one of the lap time 2:09.xxx doesn’t count. I accidentally took a shortcut, so that lap time is DQ. I tried again to get same or equal lap time, but closest I got was 2:10 lol

I think so. It was slightly higher ever since it was released.

Here are GR86 & BRZ, 0 miles w SS tires (no mods).

As you can see, some how GR86 PP is lower than BRZ. Why? Idk

I still am slower with a stock BRZ for some reason. At least when I tested it out when they released it. lol. Never tried again since.

Cancel my Gen2 entry. The car is not standard. Originally when I added the livery down force pieces were added and they are adjustable. No wonder my PP is off.

How in the heck you guys are getting that lap time in Gen 2? Like Daytona, When I hard brake GR86, it feels like rear lock. Yeah, it’s handy if I wanna drift, but for grip… I’m pulling hairs. GT86 in other hand, maybe due to lack of power but I don’t have that issue.

Unlimited class, let’s just say, I might get faster lap time just wear Dirt tires Lmao

I never noticed the rears locking up when braking hard??? Controller vs steering wheel set up thing??? All I know is I was all over the place. :mad0260:

Most of the time, I’m on the controller. It’s not full locking, but feeling of G go into the front so much that the front drops & the rear lift causing rear brake over braking. If I get the braking right, I can used that on advantage to go through the corner, but 11 out of 10 time, I just drift through the corner lol

I see what you're saying now. That actually suits my driving style since I like the rear end rotating quicker than the front a lot of times.

I played a little over the weekend to check out the update, mainly because I heard there were some physics changes. It did seem like they overcorrected when they patched the broken RWD physics and made it a little too easy.
Anyhow I think they turned it back a tad and it's a little more challenging again. The only place I really noticed was with fast race cars, doesn't seem like they're 100% on rails now.

Ok now a std gen2. Yes extra taily with the braking.

Okay Friday drink night. No driving as I did it all when I could. All cars meet the requirements now. No need really to worry about previous entries as they are slower than everyone (my opinion)

This morning is a lucky day. All week, I tried to get a clean laps, but no luck… but this morning somehow I pulled this off.

If I have some time later if I get home early enough, I might give it another go. Not sure if I can better my times since like I said before, I have no clue how to take the corners on this track.
