Struggling with the 21 BRZ. That T3 when it drops away, a fraction too much speed and you go wide, not enough speed and your exit for T4 is slow. Even T5 you can brake, you can pull throttle and you can downshift plus take a couple of different lines all with good speed?

I never go below 3rd gear on this track

Struggled w Gen 2 & Unlimited. I just keep drifting all the corners… Gen 1 in other hand, got that lap time in 2 laps

Been doing T2 in 2nd but you have to be backing off the steering before you can floor it. Might try 3rd.

Dang, the zenki gen 1 really that slow compared to the kouki? lol. I still won't give up using it. hahaha

I think if I overshoot a braking point, I drop to 2nd gear with extra trail braking to bring the rear around. Otherwise, same.

I know it’s only 3hp difference, but this track hard uphill help. Rest, I feel you’re faster

Time frame is your Saturday 12:00am to Friday 11:59pm. As long as it’s in that time range, that’s all that matters.

Hopefully I can find some time for round 10. Will be a busy week being my long week at work, dropping off and picking up someone at the airport, and picking up the Skyline again.

I did 3 laps here to warm up before my test course attempts last week and want to say I was in the 1:53's. Maybe I'll limit myself to 5 laps to beat your time next time I sit down heh

The last section I think for me. Also, I remember there were some corners where I would drop down to 2nd, but then experimented with staying in 3rd and got my quicker times.

I haven't played GT7 since getting my times. Maybe I'll try to squeeze some laps in before going to sleep. Picking up the Skyline tomorrow, so probably won't have any time tomorrow to try again.

I gave up on my ghost. I hide my ghost plus keep the center gauge part as section time to keep me more focused

As a rule I tend to avoid going down to 2nd gear in this car (2nd gen.) I only do at the first hairpin on this track. Really not sure the best way through the esses or the last 2-turn complex. I’ve got over half a second faster optimums between those two areas but I’m not sure what I did.

Alright, did 6 laps. Got a better time than my last one on the 5th lap and decided to do one more and got an even better time. This session I made the most improvements on the first half, but then lost time on the second half (started losing advantage gap over my ghost).

For some reason it seems like any kind of sliding kills your time on this track for some reason. We're you sliding less???

There were only a couple places where I had to be careful with traction. I guess maybe that long 4-corner complex I probably drifted too much. I usually try to hit the first curb, miss the second then hit the other two but I never hit that target once with the GR86.

I'll see if I can squeeze in a few laps around lunch, otherwise I'm beat!

I saw the kids were playing GT so I went for it. Got it despite their presence! I get what you’re saying about sliding, seems like once the car gets into that regime it’s done. Slow and steady keeps you outta that through the esses and 4-apex
