Good news is, it doesn’t allow you to use it to begin w. Only time nitrous is able to use is only in the race time. At time laps, it doesn’t allow you to used it.

Has anyone done any laps at Autopolis yet? I put a few laps in with GR86 but was petty fatigued by then and just wanted to go to sleep. Barely got under 2:08. I can tell there's a lot of time left out there.

I did the CE beforehand, struggled with it purely out of learning the track. I think my problem with it and why I can't seem to learn it well is there are few landmarks on most of the track. Usually not a big deal but there are 3 whole areas where all of the curves sort of blend together and it takes a lot longer than usual for me to get the hang of placing the car. I get totally lost.

Last week I was testing out, my stock GR86 average 2:07~08 (haven’t done it this week to count for an official time).

Honestly CE screwed me over. Because 86 & GTR character & grip is completely different, so if you try to apply same kinda thing into 86, it doesn’t work… at least for me.

I was gonna try it on Saturday, but got lazy and played Rocket League instead. Lol

That's also my problem. I also use landmarks for my braking and turn in reference points. Couldn't ever find good ones for that track.

I guess it's that way with all of the CE's. 10/10ths in a GT3 (or god forbid an LMP) never really translates great to road cars. Helps to memorize the track though, and usually some of the main quirks of how to best take corners carry over in principle.

Really? I thought there were enough landmarks… or maybe I’m just used to race in that track that I know what to look for? Idk

Maybe. So far I've only found two good braking points. There's a right corner where before it, there is a walkway/narrow road on the left side of the track. And for the tight off camber hairpin, the second to last board on the right. Every other corner, I'm SOL.

Oh, first corner I use the perpendicular line on the ground for my braking point.

A problem I have with braking/turn in points is that I mostly use the bumper cam view. And at some tracks, due to topography, you can't see very well from being so low to the ground.

Gonna try to get the times for the 3 cars tonight.

I'm very interested to see your lap time. I feel like you gonna be hitting 6 secs for GR86 and 10secs for GT86. Unlimited Easily <2mins... maybe into low 40's?

Or is that too low of expectation? lol :burnrubber: :burnrubber: :burnrubber:

I dunno about that. Like I said, I don't like that track at all. Lol
