I made a new FT86 logo
 

Hey so I think this my first post but I did this last night and today

The background would probably be clear but grey is just to see how it looks like

I might make stickers, *Asking permission from Hachiroku

And you probably don't like pink haha so colors could be changed

Since you opened with "bring the hate" I presume you will not be real open to criticism but here we go.
A logo should be easy to read. That is not.
The blue coloured sections of yours make the 86 logo disappear. Those sections should be the void with the actual 86 filled in not the other way around.
The blocky FT86 club .com letters do not fit with the flowing 86 logo at all and it is nigh on impossible to recognize it as a web address.
And YES the pink sucks and doesn't even work with the blue much less any of the car colours except maybe white or black. Neutral colours would be far better.

And not to pile on, but if your intent is to sell that, it's illegal (although it's unlikely Toyota or this site would ever sue you for it - but either one could). I am quoting Tcoat because I also agree with everything he said.

Aside from all of that,it just doesn't look very creative,but then again,I work with Photoshop,Illustrator,and Coreldraw for my job,so I guess it's going looks a bit pedestrian for my taste,

LoL well I wanted to make it simple so it wouldn't be busy or hard to read. It is more creative than todays logos, look at any store or anything, it is just the word in wide sans serif font = So boring. I'm not tryna sell anything or whatever. Don't the letters kind of look like the one now? Hmm. Maybe I'll just make one the way I like it and just keep it to myself. Ok see you.

the biggest problem with asking for opinions is that there's plenty of people that'll give them to you!

The text does take away from the logo. They are too dissimilar to work together.

I agree with the criticisms in this thread.

If you want to make the stickers for yourself, you should. You will only get better by making more designs, but you can't do that unless you start with the first one, right?
If you put them on your car, and someone from here recognized the website, they would most likely be more interested in chatting you up about the cars themselves rather than how the sticker looks.

How is this a new logo? Just regular 86 badge with font in front..a little comfused.
