Value of a 2022 BRZ base wheel/tire set
 

Hi All -


Bought a 2022 base BRZ and will be replacing my wheels/tires with aftermarket. I plan to sell the take-offs with 90km on them, but want to do so with realistic price. These are the 215/45/R17 primacy hp tires on 17x7.5 +48 wheels.


I've seen the 18" w PS4s being listed for 1000-1200 USD, so I was thinking something like 800 USD for the base wheel/tire. Is that in line with first gen OEM wheels with primary tires?

I don't think the primacy tires are worth much of anything considering no one wants them. You may get more money selling the wheels and tires separately. The tires are the same size as a Prius. Maybe you could sell to them for more money?

I think it's key to just take a shot at a solid price to start with and go down from there. I sold my 18 PP wheels with primacy's on them for over 600 IRCC, long after people were getting bored of them and were just buying them to return their car to stock. I'd say your assumption in starting price is not unreasonable. Also depends if you're trying to make the top buck from it or just sell it off to the community for cheaper. How quick you need them gone is another point to consider. You've already done your research, post it up for what YOU think is worth a shot. Can always go down from there if it doesn't work out!

It would help you to come up with idea what kind of driver would actually be looking for this particular wheel/tire combo. Then you will quickly figure it out how much this person would be paying.

I will likely separate wheels/tires unless I get lucky and someone wants the set. Not looking for max bucks, just gauging reasonable value.
