NT555 vs Continental DW

I'm down to these 2 tires, I am going with 235/35R19 on 19x8 +35. I have been set on 18's but they just sold out of them a month ago and are no longer being produced. The Conti's are about 2lbs lighter per tire, the Nittos main advantage is cost being about $150 for the set. Anybody running either on their car or have an opinion which I should go with?

The Conti is the preferred nearly all weather performance tire. It comes highly recommended.

Agreed, I have actually had both on my 350Z and done AutoX on both.

The Nittos actually have great grip and performance for the price, but they were sketchy in the rain.

The Continental DWs are great for both and comfortable. They also have amazing performance in the rain.

Summary

Nittos - Better dry weather performance, less comfort
Contis - Better wet weather performance, less dry performance, best comfort

Yeah noise and comfort is very important since it's a 19". If it was an 18 i wouldn't be as concerned but since I have less sidewall to start with I want something with a good ride.

DWs - soft-ish sidewall and excellent in the wet. Decent in the dry for anything short of chasing victories in autox. I'd pick it for DD (and I did, on my other car).

The Nitto's are louder tires and sketchy in the rain.

DW it is $150 isn't that much more for what i'm getting in return.
