which coupe is better to have?

I am looking for coupe that is under 30K and reliable so I have three coupes on my list that catch my interests, Altima Coupe 2.5s, Accord Coupe, and FRS. I thought about FR-S, but I am having doubt because it is the new model so not sure what kind of mechanical problem it will have. Although Toyota is known for their most reliability vehicles. Any input?

You're asking which is better on an FRS forum. There may be just a little bit of bias here ;)

Go and test drive those cars problem solve

Well, if you are talking about the Nissan Altima and Accord (both Coupes), I have a feeling you aren't going to be very happy with the FR-S, its much smaller and isn't as practical. What are you looking for in a car?

that's not true! I think he should get the altima over the accord, but if he was serious he should be looking at the GC r-type ... all these over the frs :slap:

FR-S. I was supposed to get a 3rd gen TL Type S...look what happened x_x

The FR-S is mostly Subaru, but should still be reliable enough.

The other two are only passable attempts at coupes. They're really just sedans with the 2 door option. They're not remotely sporty.

You have to weigh fun vs convenience/reliability. I think the FR-S is going to be fairly reliable, but might not match the Altima or Accord on reliability. Sometimes you just have to trade away a bit of the dullness for an extra bit of fun. Depends on what you're looking for in the vehicle.

Accords are huge, and I always thought Altimas were pretty beefy too. I prefer small, light cars so my opinion is biased. You're also talking about FWD on the accord and altima, and RWD on the FR-S. What are you looking for in your next car besides reliability?

My comments would be very much like HunterGreene's.

Sorry but this thread smells of a troll post to evoke people to write in 100 words or less why the FR-S is better than the Accord or Ultima Coupe.

The 2 vehicles compared are in an entirely different class.

If this is legit here's my take:

Ultima Coupe= ugly abomination of a G37 coupe.

Accord coupe= long in the tooth design now but OK car. Might as well get the sedan and make it practical and easier to resell.

What are you looking for in a car? Are you single, married, have kids plan on having kids anytime soon, etc?

Yeah, and so far nobody has risen to the bait. :party0030:

It's really simple...are you a front wheel person? No? Then the choice is clear. Good luck either way.
