I find that odd considering 0w20 flows better in colder conditions, and 5w30 is generally used for harder driving/hotter conditions. I'm guessing it's either a "standard" over there or it's because of availability. But I'd prefer 0w20 in cold conditions over 5w30.

I run 0w20 Quaker State Ultimate Durability which is pretty inexpensive at Walmart and did well in in the ranking of that blog.. It's my daily and the car hits an occasional track day + autocross.. No complaints here.. :D

I run and have run Royal Purple in all my vehicles for a long time. I like it, and have 0w-20 in my 2019 BRZ.
