Having trouble with code p0441
 

has anyone had this code happen before and could you tell me what it could be or what to fix? I have a feeling it may be the EVAP Canister Purge Valve but im looking for second opinions because id hate to drop 100$ on the part if it is not that. Thanks!:thanks:

Check your gas cap first.

replaced already.

Don't need techstream.

Get a hand vacuum pump, a tee fitting, and some hose. Hook it inline where the manual instructs to feel for vacuum on the valve test.
Clear the code and fire up the engine.
Compare measured with specs.


Is it a leak, or a dead solenoid?
