I have officially purchased a 2014 Scion FR-S! I am excited to be a part of this community. Any suggestions on what my first aesthetic and performance mods should be?

Driver Mods.
It will outperform you on public roads.

Just enjoy driving it. It's great fun as is.

Brake pads and fluid, alignment and nice tires.

As said just drive and enjoy for a while and then decide what YOU want to do (if anything).
Things like the brake fluid, pads and tires are just fine for most people and switching out automatically is just making changes for the sake of making changes until you determine if you actually want or need something.

Enjoy it stock for a bit and research as you're driving it. In a few months re-evaluate if you feel it's lacking in any areas. My first mod was wheels as I hate the stockers. If you're doing any track work pads and fluid are needed, if just street driving it's great as is.

Drive the bloody thing. Don’t let it sit, commute, use it for vacation, just enjoy it.

Frankly, I don’t think there’s much one must do on these cars, just remember money spent on mods is kinda lost.

Find as many Ebay 3M pieces you can get your hands on and slap on a nasty ABS widebody. Be sure to also cut your springs and slam it to the ground. Chefs kiss.

As an owner of a 2014 DD (without mods), just enjoy the hell out of it. I'm a different person after it came into my life, even without mods.

first mod? maintenance. unless you've got receipts, assume zero maintenance was performed up to the car's current mileage.

CONGRATULATIONS on your new purchase.

Read the drivers manual ..... then go back and read the parts that you skipped the first time.

Keep in mind that the parking stops are at least one foot closer than you think they are.

Yes it will be my daily as well. As far as mods go I was just hoping to get good tires, brakes, and maybe a cold air intake because I’m definitely going to be doing some canyon runs.
