OEM Wheel Weights

Anyone weight the oem 17" and 18" wheels yet? Thanks in advance!

Someone weighed the 17" wheel + tire and it was 42.9 IIRC and TireRack says the tire is 20 lbs so you can get a good estimate from there. That said, once my car arrives I'll go ahead and weigh the wheel separately while I'm swapping around wheels and tires.

Seems heavier than the first gen wheel and tyre if the info is correct.

First gen wheel and tyre is 18.2 kg / 40.1 lbs

By this number above new wheel and tyre may be 19.4 kg/ 42.9 lbsAttachment 209338

Wow, agreed. I hope there's an error in there or I'd certainly lean towards using the OEM wheels for snow tires and aftermarket for summer tires.

Par for course and excellent value I would say. Gen 1 wheels were Enkei flow formed and i expect gen 2 would be too. I spent 4000£ to get Volk Racing fully Forged and one inch wider.. for that money I saved 2.5 kg/ corner.

Will do. Current ETA of my car is 2/11 and I'll be messing around with wheels/tires that weekend assuming it's not freezing out. My backyard shop isn't heated and changing low profile tires when it's cold sucks.
