Gen 1 Floor mats compatibility with Gen 2

Does anyone know if Gen 1 WeatherTech driver/passenger floor mats will fit Gen 2? I’m trying to decide if I should include the OEM floor mat accessory in my GR86 order. My local dealership hasn’t had a car available for test fitting, so I’m hoping someone with Gen 1 and Gen 2 experience can comment.

They do fit but the fuel door release is no longer there, so you'll have a notch in the corner for nothing.

Husky Floor Liner Mats for 1st Gen cover over the fuel door release.

Had them in 1st Gen and will use again in 2nd Gen. Very durable and best coverage.
