Getting sticker crap off paint
Dealer put a small sticker on back of the car, i want to know what would be the best to use to get the residue off without harming the clearcoat.

Lacquer thinner is the most abrasive stuff you can use against the clear without hurting it. If you aren't comfortable with using that you could just goo-gone or a similar product.
However if I were you, I would take it back to the dealer and tell them to remove it. Unless they want to provide me with free parts for life there's no way I'm advertising their dealership with a crummy and eyesore sticker for free. |
Use a heat gun on low or a blow dryer to warm the sticker up a bit. You don't want to heat it up too much, just enough to make it easy to peel off. Follow up with a product like Goo Gone to remove the adhesive. Allow it to dwell for a few minutes before attempting to wipe it off.

Pulled off sticker, used blow dryer to heat up residue... fingers to roll it up, goo gone for the leftover, then a little warm water with mild soap, and finished with meguiars spray wash and wax. Can't even tell it was there. Thanks for the tips!!!
