Help with rear speakers only high pass signal in 2022

Hi,

I replaced rear speaker with the 6.5 speaker today, there is no bass at all, sounds like just high pass signal come out the stock headunit.

Anyone know is there dealer service mode in the stock headunit to turn off that high pass filter?

Thank you

did you build an enclosure?

6.5's inherently don't have a ton of bass anyways, and then to mount them free-air, and then only push them with about 10w rms, that's just plain defying physics.

going to need a lot more details on your installation practices, enclosure volumes, and aftermarket amp you're using

No enclosure, Dynamat and filled in some insulation material around it. Everything stock, base 6 speakers audio, no amp. just put kicker cs 6.5 in, I heard the sound from the tweeter, but I don't even see the woofer move at all. so thinking maybe stock headunit only output high pass signal for the rear speaker.

i'm not doing anything crazy, just have some extra speakers laying around, try to get some sound out from the back (stock rear speaker close to nothing) lol.

Sounds like it wants more power than is available.
