What brake improvements were made for 2022?

I read in a few places that the brakes were improved for 2022 for "better brake pressure" (or something like that).
Does anybody know what changes were made to the braking system?

The only one I remember is that the pad compound changed.

I feel like they have an increased assistance, ie feels like the booster provides more vacuum. It is discrete, and I really like it.

Hmm, that's interesting. If it's anything like VW, it's easily done with the computer. I have an OBD11 dongle and software, and I can adjust the assist on my brakes with my GTI.
But I have a funny feeling you are right, because of the way they worded it.

Not sure if Golf is eBoost (electric assisted), but for the Brz, it is a Vacuum Booster. Impression is that they changed initial characteristic of the valve opening.

Pad material changed also, got better on the normal days, but seem to have worsened on dump condition.

Oh, interesting.
I guess they try to improve it for "the masses".
