Saw the video. Please keep making the brilliant content on the new platform. You are clearly focusing on the exhaust end rightly so as there are probably more gains to be had.
Also it will be great if you could do a video to measure the intake port sizes and try to put in the 2017+ manual car Red manifold and see if it makes any more power compared to the plastic manifold.

We will be looking at the intake as well. Currently we have been prototyping an intake for the car to see what gains (if any) there are there so we will have that shortly. We will be working with the manifold as well.

Not a problem. It's a platform I really enjoy and getting these details worked out is fun and can't wait to tie this all together with tuning.

Please do a Tomei UEL as well. I'd love to see what a better quality brand could do over the Borla you tried before.

Based on what I've seen (and tuning the gen1 with the Tomei UEL and Borla UEL) there are likely to be small differences between the 2 but once we have direct comparison data on the same car we will of course share.

Nothing will make sense until the ecu can be tuned. I would also imagine that the tube diameters will be different on a dedicated aftermarket header.

Yes tuning will tie all this together. You can see how the torque dips and troughs move around as you change the headers - it is especially sensitive to header design in the torque dip area and you can see the engineers tuned the OEM header and ECU both to make improvements in that area specifically.

The comparison between the aftermarket headers is great. When comparing to stock, besides the header itself, the other variable is with & without catalytic converter, yes?

Both aftermarket headers have been catless. The OEM headers are all original and unmodified. The secondary catalyst has always been left in place.
