2017 BRZ Dash Trim Pieces on 2013 BRZ
 

Im looking to buy a car stereo. I hate the 13-16 dash trim pieces made by Metra. However, I like how the 17+ dash trim pieces look made by Metra (gloss black finish).

I was wondering if it is possible to:

1. Switch from '13 dash panels to the '17's two-piece dash panel
2. Buy a standard double DIN car stereo + wiring harnesses for it
3. Buy the 17+ dash kit set (Here: https://www.crutchfield.com/S-l22jGC...oss-Black.html)

Has anyone ever done this before with the previous years?
