2022+ BRZ/GR86 BBK fitment guide

Let's turn this into a long term guide. This guide is not meant to be a recommendation in any way, just a database of fitments. Have a confirmation not on the list? Post a picture with evidence, and I'll update the main post.

The BRZ and GR86 differences are due to the knuckle design? The BRZ aluminum one is shaped differently enough that it interferes with the calipers?

It doesn't interfere with the calipers, but the bracket for them.

- 17+ BRZ PP calipers (same as 2019 TRD 86)

This was posted on FB, saying no spacers are needed to fit the wheel over the caliper.
However later clarified in comments that the caliper bracket doesn't fit (and was skipped) and the bolts had to be modified.

I hope to get a 2022 in here to check our fitment. From the pictures I have seen online it looks like our brackets will work.

I have been communicating with you and Simon, but without an incentive (other than me being first?) I won't drive my BRZ 4 hours each way and have to get a room for at least one night so my car can be fitted.
I'm very interested in your BBK's for the front and for the rear of my BRZ.
I wouldn't mind front brackets that have been hacked on either. Anything to get this going by March.
I want to use 17" wheels so that's another minor issue because I don't have them on the car yet (a bit of chicken or the egg on what fits what). I'm looking at Enkei RPF1 17x9 +45 wheels at the moment with 235 tires. I also don't have my coilovers on yet. They are 4-6 weeks out.
It will be interesting to see who figures this out first and puts something out there

That's completely understandable. That's why we always try to work with local cars in the event it doesn't work out. I'd hate to see you travel that distance for nothing. I think I responded to your wheel inquiry and let you know they were mostly out of stock but they may have had some grey ones available. I didn't hear back yet.

Also, I think we have an order being shipped to the midwest for a trial fit on a 2022. I had a conversation with someone last week about it and then saw the order come through. I honestly thought it was you but realized you are in CT so someone else.

As soon as you know you have a solution using the BBK's and you know that they work with the Enkei's then I'll pull the trigger on ordering everything!
I think someone said the 17" wheels would work with your BBK's.

@CSG Mike can you please update the header?
I presume this is a BRZ-only issue.

So the 17-20 PP Brembo's will just bolt on with no adapter bracket or spacer needed? for the oem 18" wheels.

The 2022 GR86 front knuckles look identical to 2013-2020 knuckles, so the whole PP kit should fit without problems.
Note that OEM '17-20 PP BRZ's uses a bar between the bolts that hold the front knuckle.

As for wheel vs caliper clearance, check out this thread.

Also, can we make this thread sticky?

There is some outdated info this thread. If you are interested in an AP Racing by Essex Competition Brake Kit, please see our guides below that thoroughly discuss the fitment of each of our kits:

Toyobaru Brake Kits Gen.1 vs. Gen.2

and

Off the top of your head, do you know/can you confirm if TWS Motorsport T66-F 18x8.5 +42 wheels clear these without spacers? Or for that matter any of the confirmed BBKs?
