FS: 2016 FA20 Longblock with rod knock - $1250

Engine is from my 2016 BRZ with 20,000 miles.

It developed a knock, so I decided to pull the engine and do an engine swap. Here is a video of it idling shortly before pulling the engine: https://youtu.be/p7rASJAia-c

Would be a great engine to build up for boost or what have you.

Looking for $1250 picked up in Austin, TX

Picture shows engine harness and ECU, but I will remove those prior to sale.

Willing to ship at buyers expense, but I have never shipped something as large/heavy as this so no idea what it would cost. Maybe $300?

I have zero clue. Was just taking an off-ramp one day, hit about 7k rpm and it sputtered/backfired followed immediately by knock.

That happened to my step son's WRX.

Most likely oil starvation. Mine did the same I was doing pulls on an incline and boom.

Damn that sucks.. I'm gonna assume however is interested would probably be getting it for the block unless you can work on it by yourself. Good luck

Bump - Willing take $500 for the longblock. Can still ship but again that will likely be a few hundred dollars. Does not include sensors or water pump.
