Cipher Harness Bar

Can anyone tell me whether the rear seat backs can still be folded down with a Cipher Harness Bar installed?
I’d like to be planted better into my seat but also like the cargo capacity for track day equipment hauling.
Cheers!

Does it matter?

It would be unsafe for anyone to ride in the rear seats with that harness bar installed anyway, so you could just remove them.

unless your worried about trunk noise..

It's unsafe to use harnesses with only a harness bar for people in the front seats too. A proper roll hoop with a harness bar is the safe option.

Certain rule sets prohibit removing the seat but would allow the bar.

To the OP, I do not have an answer, but if you can get a photo of one installed so you know where the ends are you could perhaps use a piece of pvc or dowel to mock it up and see. You might also check with the vendor directly.

Allegedly. I have heard arguments both ways. I went the safe route YMMV
