Thank you. I gotta go through mine. It’s with all my paperwork in a filling cabinet.

Does not appear to have a cigarette-lighter-style 12V power socket, despite the manual saying theres one in the glove box.

Please correct me if im wrong on this :)

That's unfortunate... I already bought a 12V Dashcam.

It has got to be there. It comes standard in every trim.

It's there, it's actually behind the glove box above it. Open it all the way and look way in the back at the top.

It's in there. I think it was above the glove box when it is dropped in the upper right corner. It's kind of hard to see the black cover in the black area.

Are you supposed to route the cable through the bottom left corner where there's a small gap? That was my first thought as there doesn't really seem to be any gaps for snaking a power cord out anywhere else in the glovebox.

I'm tempted to drill a few holes/slots somewhere in the back/sides of the glovebox for cable routing. I've got a 3 way 12V splitter in the glove box (so I can run my dashcam and my footwell LEDs) and the spaghetti of wires is bugging me. I have the wires running out both sides, but its not a huge issue since I never open the glovebox unless I need the manual or registration.

This has happened to me multiple times now, and it seems totally random, but always after a startup. Was really annoying during the break-in period because I wanted that reminder :)

Also, not a fan of the door locks. I feel they should auto-lock on drive away and unlock on shut off.

Why do you want your doors locked while driving?

I'm not exactly sure what purpose it serves on the BRZ given that we already have a mechanical Torsen LSD.

But going by the fact that it gets turned off in full track mode, I assume the use for it is for something like loose roads or snow vs performance driving.

The Cayman has this in place of a LSD and I heard nothing but bad things about it. Lots of rear pad wear when driving aggressively
