3+1 arrangement...
You know what, I think that Toyota/Subaru should have had a 3+1 arrangement similar to the Scion iQ to make at least one back seat usable. There would probably be implications due to the Boxer engine but they could have been able to compromise. If you are gonna stuff a seat in the back, at least make it somewhat livable. I think 3+1 would have been perfect. Anyone else's opinion?

There's no way to make the rear seats in this car comfortable/usable. Even if you added leg room for the rear passenger, they're still going to hit their head.

I've found the back seats very usable, for my kids. Sure the car won't fit four 6'+ adults, but my kids who are 8 & 9 years old fit in the back seat just fine (I'm 6'1"). There is just as much room in the back seat of my BRZ as in my Mustang and Mini Cooper, and I've had smaller adults in the back seats for short trips from time to time.

Useless backseats are something that I wanted. When I go out with more than one friend, I don't have to be the driver! :D

They work perfect for my 4yr old! :)

My car has a back seat?!?! I always thought it was just extra storage space lmao. ;)

also if they made the rear seatback split fold instead of 1 fold the 3+1 arrangement could be done. |
